The last week of April! I can't believe we are in the final six weeks of school - time is just flying by! We have a lot to do in order to prepare for the MSP tests in the next two weeks so students will be very busy in class for the few weeks. May is going to be a busy month so get ready for all the hustle and bustle!! =]
7th LA:
This week students will be reviewing for the reading portion of the MSP which we will be taking Thursday 5/12. We will discuss test taking strategies and practice working through several test examples as a class and in pairs. Students will be expected to complete their work in class this week so they do not have assigned homework.
8th LA:
Monday - Wednesday: Students will continue to work in their literature circle groups and to update their wiki page. Students should be nearing the end of their books - they will not be receiving class time after this Wednesday and we will be beginning to finalize their web pages and plan their skits. Please encourage students to continue reading at home in order to keep pace with the class.
